Admission rules for international studentsADMISSION of International students to the two-year master degree program in “Food and Beverage Innovation and Management” (FABIAM) is subjected to the possession of 1. Curricular requirements Candidates must have a first level university degree in Food Science/Food Technologies studies. Students with university degrees in other areas may also apply. The Admission Committee (AC) will evaluate the suitability of the degree. 2. Requirements related to linguistic knowledge (English) Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following alternatives: a) English mother tongue; b) High School Diploma obtained after the completion of a course of study of at least four years of duration and where English is the language of teaching; c) Bachelor degree (B.A. or B.Sc. or similar) obtained after the completion of a course of at least three years of duration and where English is the language of teaching; d) A certified B2 level of English such as for example Cambridge ESOL First Certificate of English, IELTS 5.5 and above, ETS TOEFL iBT 69 and above. However, candidates that do not possess at least one of the above mentioned requirements can register to the MSc programme with the mandatory attendance of an English course of 6 credits (ECTS) (intermediate level B2) in the first year of MSc. 3. Suitability of education Subject to curricular requirements, the admission to FABIAM is subjected to the examination of the personal preparation, with particular attention to the knowledge and the skills needed to follow profitably the programme:
The AC will check your competence by means of a skype interview. In order to apply, PLEASE CHOOSE THE APPLICATION PROCESS RELEVANT TO YOUR NATIONALITY a) International candidates possessing an Italian Bachelor's Degree (Laurea) a) International candidates possessing an Italian Bachelor's Degree (Laurea) Please refer to the "Ammissione studenti italiani" page b) Italian (including those with double citizenship) and EU citizens possessing a degree obtained abroad The enrolment procedure is in 4 steps: Step 1: Pre-acceptance procedure You can submit your pre-application online via our web platform: https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Internazionale/International_students Step 2: Admission Procedure The Admission Committee (AC) will examine your pre-acceptance documentation and, if appropriate, will send an email to set up the date for a skype interview. If the interview is positive the AC will send you a letter of acceptance and you can start to prepare the documents for the enrolment procedure according to step 3 below. Step 3: Validation of your qualifications at the Italian Embassy Contact the Italian Embassy in your country or the nearest Italian Consulate and present: 1. your university degree; 2. your transcript of records (a certificate issued by your university of provenance that certifies your academic degree, passed exams, grades, credits or the amount of hours for each subject); 3. a syllabus including all the learning activities completed to obtain the foreign academic qualification, on the headed paper of the foreign university, with an official stamp and signature (Translation is not required for programmes originally produced in English, French, German and Spanish); 4. four passport photos. Documents 1 and 2 must be legalised by the competent local authorities and accompanied by a translation into Italian by a certified translator/public notary (please check with the Italian Embassy/Consulate about the right procedure). NB. Candidates possessing a EU degree may replace the exams certificate with the “Diploma Supplement” for academic qualifications issued by universities in the European Higher Education Area (Bologna Process).
Step 4: Enrollment at Univpm Application period is from July to November 2022. The enrollment procedure is completely online. Follow the instructions below: o Enter the following URL: https://univpm.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do ESSE3 Servizi online, from the Menu select Registration and proceed filling the form with the required informations. o Use the temporary login credentials (username and password) to enter your Reserved Area and then from the Menu select REGISTRAR’S OFFICE – ENROLLMENT. o Fill the form and upload an ID photo (JPG or BMP file extension, 200 dpi resolution, 400 kb maximum size). The photo should include full head and shoulders on a white background. o Once you have completed the procedure, print and sign the enrollment form. o Pay the first instalment of the tuition fees with the PagoPA. (link PagoPA) o From UPLOAD ATTACHEMENTS upload copies of the required documents in PDF format.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE ENROLLMENTE ON ESSE3: 1. a signed copy of the enrollment form (once downloaded and printed); 2. a front and back copy of your ID card or other valid identity document (e.g. passport); 3. the receipt of payment of the first instalment of the tuition fee; 4. a copy of your original university degree with the certified translation issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate; 5. a copy of your original transcript of records with the certified translation issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate (the transcript of records may be replaced by the Diploma Supplement); 6. a copy of syllabus including all the learning activities completed to obtain the foreign academic qualification, on the headed paper of the foreign university with an official stamp and signature; 7. a copy of the declaration of value of your degree issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate located on the country whose “legislation on education” your degree belongs to; 8. a copy of a language certification in English B2 CEFR level (or higher) or another official document that certifies your knowledge of the English language issued by your university of provenance or by your high school of provenance (if you have it), according to the linguistic requirements mentioned above. The certification or other official document have to be written in English or Italian. (English mother tongue applicants satisfy the language pre-requisite as well); 9. a copy of your Italian fiscal code; 10. a copy of the residence permit or receipt, confirming the application for the permit (only for non-EU equivalent students)

PLEASE NOTE: the letter of acceptance does not substitute the compulsory pre-enrollment through Universitaly. We suggest you to apply for the Pre-acceptance on univpm.it and for the Pre-enrollment on universitaly.it at the same time.
